Behrens’ gate 5 is an apartment building in the Frogner district of Oslo. The property dates from the late nineteenth century and stands in one of the city’s established residential areas, with the kind of classic urban façade often used for upper-middle-class homes on screen.
In Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole (2026), Behrens’ gate 5 is used for the scenes at Camilla Loen’s apartment, where she is found murdered. The building is therefore tied to one of the series’ early crime scenes and becomes part of the investigation’s Oslo setting. The “K” you can see reflected in the window belongs to the painting company Kaasa. The building across the street was being renovated when the series was filmed. As with other real residential addresses used in the series, it should be treated as a private property rather than a visitor attraction.
