The Worst Person in the World (Norwegian: Verdens verste menneske) is a critically acclaimed 2021 Norwegian romantic comedy-drama directed by Joachim Trier. It is the third film in Trier’s unofficial “Oslo Trilogy,” following Reprise (2006) and Oslo, August 31st (2011)

The Worst Person in the World was primarily filmed in Oslo, Norway, which director Joachim Trier treats as a central character in the story. While the vast majority of the movie features authentic locations throughout the city, some interior studio work was also conducted at Film i Väst in Trollhättan, Sweden.
