The Falkland Arms is a historic pub with rooms in Great Tew, Oxfordshire. The building is Grade II listed and dates from the late seventeenth century, possibly with earlier fabric, although the pub itself is often described as a sixteenth-century Cotswolds inn. It is built from local stone, with a Stonesfield-slate roof, mullioned windows, leaded glazing and a traditional village-pub exterior. Inside, the pub is known for flagstone floors, low beams, hanging ceramic jugs, small rooms and an inglenook fireplace. Its position in the small village of Great Tew gives it a rural Cotswolds identity that contrasts strongly with the London and organised-crime locations used elsewhere in MobLand.

The Falkland Arms appears in MobLand (2025–). The series uses the real Great Tew pub as itself, with the name The Falkland Arms kept in the dialogue and episode summaries. It appears in season 1 as a Cotswolds meeting place, first in “The Crossroads”, episode 7, and later in “Beggars Banquet”, episode 9.

In MobLand (2025–), The Falkland Arms appears in “The Crossroads”, episode 7 of season 1. Alice asks Jan Da Souza to meet her at the pub, saying there is a place in the village called The Falkland Arms. Jan agrees, and the pub becomes the setting for their conversation while Fisk listens from a surveillance van nearby. The scene uses the quiet country-pub setting as a cover for a police operation, with Alice trying to draw information from Jan while pretending to need personal help. Paul later interrupts the meeting and orders Jan to come with him, turning the pub into another place where the pressure around the Harrigan family reaches into ordinary public spaces.

The Falkland Arms returns in MobLand in “Beggars Banquet”, episode 9 of season 1. Conrad Harrigan, Harry Da Souza, Seraphina Harrigan and Paul arrive at the pub to meet Jaime Lopez. The meeting is connected to the Harrigans’ attempt to make a deal over the fentanyl trade after the violence involving Richie Stevenson and the cartel. Conrad does most of the talking, while Seraphina explains the offer and Jaime addresses Harry directly. The pub’s old beams, intimate rooms and rural Cotswolds atmosphere make the scene feel very different from the city restaurants, warehouses and family-house interiors elsewhere in the series, turning a traditional village pub into the setting for a dangerous criminal negotiation.
