Harrison Ford (born 13 July 1942) is an American actor and producer best known for playing two of cinema’s most iconic heroes: Han Solo in the Star Wars franchise and Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones films. After working a string of small roles in the 1960s and early 1970s, he broke through with American Graffiti (1973) before becoming a global star with Star Wars (1977).
