Main Street Bridge is a small road bridge crossing Blair Creek in the historic centre of Blairstown, New Jersey, close to the junction of Main Street and Blair Place. The bridge connects the two sides of Main Street near the Old Mill, a stone building dating from 1825, and forms part of the town’s historic streetscape. According to New Jersey Department of Transportation records, the bridge was originally constructed in 1900 and reconstructed in 1984. Its appearance has changed considerably since the late 1970s, particularly the roadside parapet, which originally consisted of closely spaced vertical posts separated by rectangular openings. The bridge is registered under structure number 2100404.

Main Street Bridge has appeared in Friday the 13th (1980) and Crystal Lake (2026–). Both productions feature the bridge during the arrival of a young woman in the fictional town of Crystal Lake, with the later television series recreating the original sequence using the same location and a combination of surviving buildings and reconstructed historical details.

In Friday the 13th (1980), directed by Sean S. Cunningham, the bridge appears at the beginning of the film’s present-day storyline, immediately following the opening sequence set in 1958. The camera looks across Blair Creek towards Main Street, showing the bridge’s original parapet and a building displaying a large Frank’s Delicatessen sign. A white house stands farther back, while part of the historic Old Mill is visible at the extreme right of the frame. The film then shows Annie Phillips (Robbi Morgan), a young woman travelling to Camp Crystal Lake to work as a cook, crossing the bridge as she enters the town. The sequence introduces the peaceful surroundings of Crystal Lake before the story takes a darker turn. Annie subsequently appears walking downhill along Blair Place and towards the Old Mill, where she passes beneath the building’s stone arches. The editing creates a geographical inconsistency, as Blair Place leads back towards the same section of Main Street that Annie has already reached by crossing the bridge.

In Crystal Lake (2026–), the Friday the 13th prequel series, the bridge returns in the fourth episode, “A New Beginning”, during Willow’s (Oona Roche) arrival in town. The sequence closely recreates Annie’s introduction from the original film, including the view across Blair Creek and the young woman’s walk towards Main Street. Although the bridge had been reconstructed decades earlier and the surrounding buildings had changed, the production used visual effects to restore much of the appearance seen in 1980. The original parapet with its distinctive rectangular openings reappears, alongside the former Frank’s Delicatessen frontage and the white house beyond it. A comparison of the two sequences also reveals some notable differences. Two buildings visible on the left side of the background in Crystal Lake can be recognised in the present-day streetscape but do not appear in the original composition. Conversely, the Old Mill, which can just be seen at the far right of the 1980 image, is absent from the corresponding shot in the series. These differences suggest a slightly altered camera position or framing, with the surviving surroundings incorporated into the recreated historical setting rather than the entire image being rebuilt to match the original exactly. The result closely resembles the 1980 sequence while retaining elements of modern Blairstown.
