The Holy Monastery of Rousanou (also known as the Monastery of Saint Barbara) is one of the six active Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Meteora, Greece.
Sky Riders (1976) was shot entirely in Greece and is famous for using Meteora locations five years earlier than For Your Eyes Only. The spectacular rock formations served as the terrorist hideout. The production used the The Holy Monastery of Rousanou for several key scenes.
