Mac’s Motel is a roadside motel in Heber City, Utah. The motel sits along South Main Street, the main road through the city, and has the straightforward, small-town exterior typical of older American roadside lodging. Its sign, parking area and exterior room entrances make it a useful filming location for scenes that need an ordinary motel setting rather than a large, anonymous hotel. In Marshals, the motel is used as a surveillance location, with the sign and exterior rooms clearly identifying the place before the scene moves into the characters’ stakeout.
Mac’s Motel appears in Marshals, in “Wolves at the Door”, episode 13 of season 1. The episode uses the motel for a stakeout sequence involving Andrea Cruz, Pete Calvin and Belle Skinner, as the team watches a room connected to the person they are tracking.
In Marshals (2026), Mac’s Motel appears in “Wolves at the Door”, episode 13 of season 1. Around fourteen minutes into the episode, there is an establishing shot of the motel sign before Andrea Cruz comes out of one of the rooms and gets into the car with Pete Calvin and Belle Skinner. She tells them that she has confirmed the man in the room has not left all day and has not had any visitors. The team has also received a tip that a meeting may take place, so they decide to remain in the car and continue watching the motel. The scene uses Mac’s Motel as a quiet surveillance point rather than an action location, with the motel exterior and parking area giving the stakeout a low-key roadside setting.
