Azure Lounge Restaurant is a waterfront restaurant at 3145 Brighton 4th Street on the Riegelmann Boardwalk in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. The premises were previously occupied by Tatiana Grill, a Russian and Eastern European restaurant that operated as the more casual sister establishment to the nearby Tatiana Restaurant & Nightclub on Brighton 6th Street. Although the two Tatiana venues shared their name and were closely connected, they were separate restaurants in different premises: Tatiana Restaurant combined dining with large-scale cabaret and nightlife, while Tatiana Grill offered a more informal beachfront setting. Tatiana Grill was operating here by the 1990s and remained a familiar part of the Brighton Beach boardwalk for decades. It has since closed, and Azure Lounge Restaurant now occupies the same location. The change of business has led to some confusion over the filming location of Anora (2024), which was shot here while the premises were still operating as Tatiana Grill rather than at the nearby Tatiana Restaurant & Nightclub.

Azure Lounge Restaurant appears in Anora (2024), although the location was still Tatiana Grill when Sean Baker filmed the movie. During Ani, Toros, Igor and Garnick’s frantic search through Brighton Beach for the missing Vanya, the group enters Tatiana Grill and questions the people inside. The original Tatiana Grill signage can be clearly seen in the film, identifying the location independently of the nearby Tatiana Restaurant. Since filming took place, Tatiana Grill has closed and the premises have become Azure Lounge Restaurant, meaning the current restaurant occupies one of the most recognisable Brighton Beach locations used in Anora (2024).

In Anora (2024), the former Tatiana Grill appears after Vanya runs away from his family’s Brooklyn mansion rather than face the men sent by his parents to deal with his sudden marriage to Ani. Toros, Igor and Garnick take Ani with them as they search places around Coney Island and Brighton Beach where Vanya might have gone. At Tatiana Grill, Toros takes a microphone and interrupts the diners, presenting Vanya as a missing young man and asking whether anyone has seen him. The sequence was filmed inside the real operating restaurant rather than on a set, with genuine customers present during filming. Director Sean Baker and his small crew worked around the diners while cinematographer Drew Daniels filmed the scene on 35mm, giving their reactions an unusually spontaneous quality. Location manager Ross Brodar later recalled that some customers became increasingly irritated as repeated takes interrupted their evening. The scene therefore captures not only the former Tatiana Grill itself but something of the real atmosphere of Brighton Beach at the time of filming. The restaurant subsequently closed, and the same boardwalk premises are now occupied by Azure Lounge Restaurant.
