Marcos Siega (born 8 June 1969, New York City) is an American director and producer known for shaping the look and pace of popular TV drama, as well as for a long run of high-profile music videos.
He first became widely visible in the music video world, directing for major rock and pop acts and earning significant industry attention with Blink-182’s “All the Small Things” (a major MTV-era staple).
In television, Siega is particularly associated with pilot episodes and early-season tone-setting, including directing the pilot of The Vampire Diaries and working as a producer on the series. He has also directed and/or executive produced episodes of a wide range of major shows, including Dexter, The Following, You, True Blood, The Flight Attendant, Dexter: New Blood, and more recently Dexter: Resurrection.
