During the first elemental attack, the Water Elemental, Rialto Bridge gets a good beating as it is where the fight takes place.

The bridge helps place the story in a recognisable Venice setting, even though the film’s main dramatic focus is on the palazzo and its immediate surroundings rather than on the bridge itself.
