Wayne Knight (born 7 August 1955) is an American actor best known for memorable character roles defined by sharp comic timing and an instantly recognisable presence. He became a familiar face in the early 1990s with film and television parts, often playing talkative, scheming, or officious figures with a mix of humour and frustration.

Knight is especially associated with two iconic roles: Newman, Jerry Seinfeldโ€™s mailman nemesis on Seinfeld, and Dennis Nedry, the disgruntled computer programmer in Jurassic Park (1993). He has also appeared in films such as Basic Instinct and Space Jam, and has done extensive voice work, including the character Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2. Across decades, Knight has remained a dependable supporting performer whose character work can elevate both broad comedy and big studio entertainment.
