Kirsten Dunst (born 30 April 1982) is an American actress known for a career that began in childhood and developed into a respected body of work across mainstream film and independent cinema. She gained early recognition with roles in Interview with the Vampire (1994) and Little Women (1994), before becoming a major teen star in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
