Kirsten Dunst (born 30 April 1982) is an American actress known for a career that began in childhood and developed into a respected body of work across mainstream film and independent cinema. She gained early recognition with roles in Interview with the Vampire (1994) and Little Women (1994), before becoming a major teen star in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Dunst reached global fame as Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), a role that made her a familiar face in blockbuster cinema.
Alongside franchise work, she has consistently pursued more distinctive, character-driven projects.
