Kaley Cuoco (born 30 November 1985) is an American actress and producer best known for long-running, high-profile television roles and a sharp comedic style. She began acting as a child and gained early recognition as Bridget Hennessy on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules (2002–2005). Cuoco became a global star as Penny on The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019), one of the most successful sitcoms of its era, where her performance helped anchor the ensemble for 12 seasons.
After The Big Bang Theory, she expanded into more dramatic and producer-driven work. She starred as Cassie Bowden in the thriller-comedy series The Flight Attendant, earning major award nominations and highlighting her range beyond traditional sitcom comedy. Cuoco has also voiced the title character in the animated series Harley Quinn and has produced projects through her company, building a second track in the industry as a creative force behind the camera as well as in front of it.
