Christina Hendricks (born 3 May 1975) is an American actress known for a screen presence that blends classic glamour with sharp, character-driven intensity. She became internationally famous for playing Joan Holloway in the period drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), a role that earned her multiple Emmy nominations and established her as one of the show’s defining performances.
