Country

Country: Mexico

Mexico has been used for a wide range of international and Mexican productions, from desert landscapes and colonial towns to modern city streets and coastal resorts. Mexico City has appeared in films such as “Spectre”, “Frida”, “Amores Perros” and “Y Tu Mamá También”, while Puerto Vallarta became closely associated with “The Night of the Iguana” and later provided jungle locations for “Predator”. Baja California has also played an important role in major productions, with large sets built there for “Titanic” and desert or coastal locations used in several Hollywood films. Other parts of Mexico, including Guanajuato, Querétaro and Oaxaca, have been used for films ranging from the “Mexico Trilogy” to historical dramas and road movies. With its mix of urban scale, colonial architecture, beaches, deserts and jungle, Mexico remains one of the most versatile filming countries in the Americas.
