Lee Remick (14 December 1935 โ 2 July 1991) was an American actress whose naturalistic style and quiet intensity made her a standout in film, television, and theatre from the late 1950s onward. She broke through with notable early roles in films such as Anatomy of a Murder (1959) and Days of Wine and Roses (1962), earning an Academy Award nomination for the latter. Remick went on to appear in a wide range of acclaimed projects, including The Omen (1976), and became especially respected for character-driven performances that balanced elegance with emotional depth. In addition to her film work, she built a strong reputation in stage and television productions, remaining admired for her intelligence, restraint, and screen presence.
