Halle Berry

Halle Berry (born 14 August 1966) is an American actress, producer, and former model who became one of the most prominent Hollywood stars of the 1990s and 2000s. She first gained attention through roles in films such as Jungle Fever (1991), Boomerang (1992), The Flintstones (1994), and Bulworth (1998), before earning major acclaim for the television film Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999), where she portrayed the groundbreaking Black actress and singer Dorothy Dandridge.

Berry made film history with Monster’s Ball (2001), becoming the first Black woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress. She also became widely known for major franchise roles, including Storm in the X-Men films and Jinx in the James Bond film Die Another Day (2002). Her filmography also includes Gothika, Catwoman, Cloud Atlas, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and Bruised, which she also directed.
