Diane Keaton (born 5 January 1946) is an American actor, director, and producer known for a distinctive screen presence that blends sharp intelligence, nervous energy, and understated warmth. She rose to prominence in the early 1970s, first gaining wide attention through her work with Woody Allen, including Play It Again, Sam (1972) and Annie Hall (1977).
