For Your Eyes Only is a 1981 spy film, the 12th in the James Bond series, starring Roger Moore as 007. The film follows Bond as he tries to recover a British missile command system, the ATAC, from the seabed before the Russians. It is known for its more realistic, plot-driven approach compared to its predecessor.
For Your Eyes Only was primarily filmed on location in Greece (Corfu and Meteora), Italy (Cortina d’Ampezzo), and at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Iconic scenes were shot at the Meteora monasteries, the Achilleion Palace in Corfu, and the ski slopes of the Dolomites. Additional underwater footage was shot in the Bahamas.
